John P. Ryan
Mr. John Ryan has over 21 years’ experience with development-stage companies as a qualified mining engineer with extensive international mining experience particularly in the Coeur d’Alene District including work at the Consolidated Silver Mine and the Galena Mine. Mr. Ryan is the founder and co-founder of a number of resource companies including Royal Silver Mines Inc., Silver Bull Resources, Western Goldfields Inc., and U.S. Silver Corporation. In 2004 he co-founded High Plains Uranium, which successfully acquired uranium assets in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming and in Live Oak County and Bee County, Texas and is now part of Uranium One Corporation. Mr. Ryan has been a senior executive and director of a number of public companies in the USA, Canada, the UK, and Australia including, Consolidated Goldfields Corp., Southern Legacy Minerals, Inc., Sterling Mining Company, Silver Scott Mines, Inc., Plasmet Corp., Premium Exploration, Inc., Trend Petroleum Inc., and Independence Resources Plc. Mr. Ryan spent four years as a Lieutenant on sea duty in the United States Navy. Mr. Ryan holds a B.S., Mining Engineering from the University of Idaho and J.D., Juris Doctor in Corporate Civil Litigation from Boston College Law School.
LARRY SEGERSTROM, MSC., MBA
Mr. Segerstrom is a mining professional with over thirty five years of technical, operational and business experience, spanning exploration, mine geology and operations. He completed his Bachelor’s in Geology at Colorado State University, and his Master’s in Economic Geology from University of Arizona, and holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Mr. Segerstrom’s experience include his role as the Chief Operating Officer of Paramount Gold and Silver Corp., where his efforts led to the discovery and development of more than 750,000 ounces of gold and 60 million ounces of silver. Additionally, at Paramount, Mr. Segerstrom, assisted in securing $50 million in equity financing, and acted as the main link between company shareholders and operations. He has also overseen the building of Layne Christensen from a small pilot drilling operation into Mexico’s largest mineral exploration drilling company, and Layne Christensen’s most profitable branch in its long history.” At Almadex Minerals he’s been instrumental in leading the team towards a major discovery in their El Cobre project in the Mexican state of Veracruz.
Mr. McCrea has more than 25 years experience in exploration and mining geology, and than 20 years experience in mineral resource estimation. Jim’s experience was gained through working for junior mining/exploration companies and engineering companies SRK and Snowden. His geological expertise ranges from technical review and due diligence to resource estimation and feasibility studies. Jim has experience in a range of commodities, but primarily gold, silver and copper, in a variety of geographic settings around the world with particular focus on North and South America. Having performed ore body modelling and resource estimation for the successfully targeted take over company Cumberland Resources Ltd. by Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. and more recently Mr. McCrea completed a mineral resource estimations underpinning the purchase of Duran Ventures’ Aguila porphyry by Peñoles and recent work for companies such as Minera San Cristóbal S.A. of Bolivia, Arena Minerals Inc. and Montan Mining Corp. to mention but a few.
Mr. Massey has over 27 years of public relations and marketing experience with both public and private companies in the mining industry including business development, strategy, resource assessment, and mineral exploration and government relations. He has a strong understanding of the equity markets and has been involved in both debt and equity financings of up to $60 million and has also held directorships for various Toronto Stock Exchange Venture listed companies.
Mr. Massey has been the President and CEO at Aldever Resources Inc. since February 2015. He serves as the CEO, President and Director at Windfire Capital Corp. since 2011. He served as the CEO and President of Redhill Resources Corp. (now Millennial Lithium Corp.) from January 2012 to October 2012. Mr. Massey was co-founder and CEO and Director of Prescient Mining Corp from March 2007 to August 2008. Mr. Massey co-founded and served as President and CEO of Universal Uranium, (now Expedition Mining Inc.). From 2005 to 2007 he coordinated the public relations programs for several successful public companies including Lumina Copper Corp. which was purchased by Teck Cominco Ltd. Previously, he served as Head of Investor Relations and Director of Corporate Communications at Inca Pacific Resources Inc. Mr. Massey has held management or investor relations positions with Greystar Resources, Marifill Mines, Everett Resources Ltd. and The North Air Group of Companies. Mr. Massey has also be involved as a consultant with public companies in various sectors of industry including manufacturing, financial services and high tech.
Mr. Eskandari brings a wealth of experience to the Company as Vice President of Corporate Development, following a short period as the Company’s Investor Relations Representative. Previous to Southern Lithium, Mr. Eskandari was a consultant for Veritas Pharma Inc. (CSE: VRT), where he was instrumental in the company’s corporate development, marketing and financing activities.
Prior to Veritas, Mr. Eskandari was the General Manager of one of Future Shop’s flagship stores in Western Canada, where in 2015, he implemented a very successful sales program resulting in the largest sales growth within Western Canada. Mr. Eskandari’s tenure at Future Shop/Best Buy included sales, sales management and was successively promoted to the General Manager. Mr. Eskandari is a graduate of Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, where his research efforts led to a major publication in the area of Riboswitches.
